What to do with my future?

I think you should stay with your family because it sounds like they need you. I know you’re finishing high school and you want to move away and “meet new people and have a good time.” Trust me when I say you have plenty of time for that, your family always comes first. For now you should go to community college (where you can always meet new people) for the first semester or two and take your core courses such as English, Math, social science etc. That way when your mom is done with her chemotherapy and things get better you can transfer to the school of your choice, if that‘s still what you want to do. You have been waiting to go away for college for a long time but everything happens for a reason. Stay with your family, I’m sure your mom will be thankful.
