Why are some people choosing to conflate "mixed messages" with self control?

TRADITIONALLY women have been igned the duty of ual "gatekeeping". As society begins to see the ism and inherent hypocrisy in the Old Ways, they will die a natural death. Women are starting to be seen as full-fledged, ual, adult human beings. Out-of-wedlock births no longer carry the same social stigma as in the past. But social change is slow, it takes many generations. The old erroneous umptions about human uality are being knocked down one by one. Like a house of cards, they fall, one after another, because there is nothing concrete to support them. We need to re-build, and that takes time.
