Is it a fool's game to think you know anything with absolute certainty?
just because things have always been a certain way doesn't mean they always will. the sun has always risen (or more accurately the earth has spun around it) but maybe tomorrow some giant meteor will come and knock it out of orbit, ending that age old cycle. you believe in god now but who knows by the end of today your thoughts may have shifted and you may be following a different set of beliefs. the future isn't set in stone, it's not even set in clay; we can't know ANYTHING about the future without some reference to the past, without looking at the number times and the manner in which it's occurred before and using that information it to make umptions (guesses; albeit educated) about what will happen next. but there's no guarantee that these are correct. so in an absolute sense, do we really know anything about our world?
