What are best light conditions for using kodak professional bw400cn film in a nikon zoom touch400not digital?

bought black and white kodak400tx tri film first from cvs 1 month later,had it developed at walgreens 1 hour service(big, big mistake)i think the new film walgreens gave me free(a 3 pack of 24 exp since they had no single rolls) is the film that doesn't need special processing.but what is the best sunlight outdoors to use living in south florida?several shots will be of a scrub natural park with a lot of dead trees that are now grayish with no leaves,beach at sunrise.which direction should i try to face in each of the two mentioned?tks ahead of time.
