What would you do?

i made a deal to move to hawaii to stay with my sister in law till my brother comes home from iraq..he should be back in march..now here's the prob. me and my boyfriend michael started datin at the end of oct..and before we got involved it was made more than clear that i was gunna move for about 3 months and he said he was ok with it..so time came to say our good byes and all of a sudden he changed his mind..all of a sudden he didnt wanna be with me..he said that 3 months is a long time and it would be hard..so i said ok and agreed just cause i care so much about him..he promised he would call often and whenever i came home we could pick up right were we left off..well now, i'm in hawaii and i have been here for about 2 weeks and he has only called 2 times..should i believe what he told me or should i try to move on?? i really am stuck and dont know what to do??
